In LOOK DOWN, I am considering the bodily experience of moving through the world with greater awareness.

On foot, the edges of urban environments, sidewalks, and roadsides are almost always filtered aesthetically by detritus. Trash becomes a collision of color, texture, and meaning. I am reconsidering the value of spaces we walk past, asking how we see ourselves as observers and contributors to these environments.
