Krista Brand is a multidisciplinary artist and curator working in ceramics, painting, provisional installation, print, and poetry. Krista's travels and road trips along North American highways have informed her interest in place, identity, objects, and materials.

Krista’s most recent work explores everyday encounters with litter and plastic waste, slyly questioning aesthetic and cultural value systems by examining and reframing cross-sections of urban landscapes. Krista earned her MFA from Washington State University and is a member of the regional artist cooperative, Saranac Art Projects, in Spokane, WA.
